Quality systems registrations are held at all Commercial Metal Forming manufacturing facilities to insure and maintain our ability to deliver consistently high quality products to the various industries served.
Commercial’s Youngstown, Ohio operation has been registered to ISO:9001 since May 2006. The stringent requirements of this global automotive based Quality Operating System standard assure adherence to the most demanding customer’s needs. From inquiry to delivery of product, and onto continuous improvement, this process-based system allows CMF to address the smallest of details with a cross-functional project management methodology.
From tank heads to the most complex custom stamping application, our ISO:9001 Quality Operating System assures that we will meet our goal of being the customer-lead, quality-driven leader in our markets!
Quality systems are also maintained at both the Orange, CA and Saginaw, TX facilities. These systems are designed to meet the requirements of the ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) Code Section VIII Division 1 unfired pressure vessels. As a holder of the ASME “U” certificate, Commercial Metal Forming is authorized to apply the “U” stamp to new welded pressure parts/vessels with the concurrence of their Authorized Inspector (A.I.).
To maintain this certificate, the facility and quality system are subjected to a tri-annual review by the Authorized Inspection Agency and the National Board of Boiler & Pressure Vessel Inspectors (NBBPVI) or the Jurisdictional Authority. The review process consists of an audit of the quality manual, system, and actual procedures.
Through implementation of quality systems and compliance with certificate requirements, Commercial Metal Forming has demonstrated a commitment to provide quality products and services while meeting or exceeding our customer’s needs.
